Where Are We Located?
We are located at 1119 East Hearn Road (link to map) in Phoenix. Hearn Road is a quarter mile north of Thunderbird Road, and the church is about 3 blocks east of 7th Avenue on Hearn Road.
When Do We Gather?
Our Sunday Morning worship gathering starts at 10:00 am each Sunday. Our Sunday Morning prayer gathering starts at 9:15 am in the worship center.
What Does a Typical Gathering Look Like?
A typical Sunday morning gathering starts with a time of contemporary worship and includes a timely message based in the Word of God.
But more than anything, we want Sunday mornings to feel like family. You’ll find friendly people, authentic relationships, and a community where you can come as you are. We’re real, passionate about Jesus, and genuinely excited to do life together.
Whether you’ve been part of the church for years or you’re walking through the doors for the first time, our hope is that you leave feeling seen, heard, and known—not just welcomed into a gathering, but welcomed into a community.
Following the message, Pastor Joe will provide an opportunity for prayer before dismissal.
A typical Sunday morning gathering lasts about two hours.
Do You Have a Kids’ Ministry?
We love having kids be part of our church family!
Real Kids includes ministry for infants, toddlers, and Pre-K, as well as a gathering for K–5 students.
Our infants, toddlers, and Pre-K meet in the Worship Center, while our K–5 students meet in the Student Center for a fun, age-appropriate experience where they can learn about Jesus, build friendships, and grow together.
This is more than childcare or simply keeping kids busy. We’re not babysitting—we’re Kingdom building. Every part of Real Kids is intentional, pointing children toward Jesus, helping them know His Word, grow in their faith, and learn how to apply it to their everyday lives. Our desire is to help every child feel seen, heard, and known while laying a foundation of faith that points them to Jesus.
And on the 5th Sunday of a calendar month, we pause our Kids Ministry gatherings and invite all of our K–5 students to join us in the Worship Center for Family 5th Sunday—a special opportunity for our whole church family to worship Jesus together.
Do You Have a Youth Ministry?
Real Youth meets in the Student Center on the First and Third Wednesday at 6 pm for a time of fun, games and fellowship then moves to the Worship Center at 7:00 pm for worship, word and small group discussion.
What Should I Wear?
At Real Church, we strive to create a comfortable, casual atmosphere. Some choose to wear jeans and others may be more “dressed up”. Regardless of what you choose to wear, you will be welcome here!
How Can I Connect With Others?
We believe in discipleship, and use a vehicle called Rooted as a way of building community.
The Rooted Experience redefines how people live their life and view their relationship with God and with others. It gives context to what it means to be a part of something bigger. You will begin to see God in new ways, allowing you to experience a different way of life: community, authenticity and generosity. You can learn more HERE.
